In the fall of 2012, Patrick Henry Community College became the first school in Virginia with a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) soccer program, fielding a men's team under Scott Haywood and women's teams under Larry Wylie. While playing in the NJCAA's highly competitive Region X conference, the two Patriot clubs combined to put six players on all-region teams during the programs' inaugural seasons. The PHCC men's team was also coached by Enda Crehan who led the team to a top 25 ranking during the 2014 and 2015 seasons, while the ladies were able to continue their rise and finish with a winning record. Brennan Murphy is now the head coach for the men, while Annalies Jobsis leads the women's program.
All home matches and practices are held at the Smith River Sports Complex. PHCC recruits soccer players from all over the country and around the world, and we have the privilege to host them at the Smith River Sports Complex.
