The Delores Sullivan Kick For A Cure is a soccer tournament benefitting cancer research. Teams will play 60-90 minutes each depending on their age.  

For this event, we need 25-48 teams consisting of 11-16 players. ALL AGES AND ABILITIES ARE WELCOME!!!!!

We want this to be more than just a local event. We would love to have teams representing all areas in our region, the more the merrier. We also need referees and volunteers.

All entry fees are tax deductible, a receipt can be given upon request, all entry fees secures your spot to play, an official t-shirt/jersey, and covers any other fees that may occur.

1 team age 7 and below, maximum 8 players $50

1 team ages 8 and above, maximum 16 players $100

Both average out to around $10 a player.

Play in honor or memory of a loved one or a co worker or friend that has survived cancer, or passed away from cancer. For a small extra fee, In Honor Of....., or In Memory Of.......can be added to the back of your team jersey. We feel this is an excellent way to honor those that have fought the fight and won, or lost their lives to a horrible sickness, and to raise funds to help find a cure.

This is not limited to just one specific type of cancer, as we all know there are many types of cancer to which there is no cure. Team colors will represent the type of cancer you are playing for. A few examples: Lavender-general types of cancer, gray-brain cancer, white-lung cancer, light blue-prostate cancer, burgundy-head and neck cancers, yellow-bone cancer, pink-breast cancer

During the event various items will be auctioned off as well. We have been in contact with numerous NCAA schools who are sending autograph balls in for the event, other items as they arrive are announced on the official Facebook page

Event sponsorships are also available for businesses that want to be a sponsor of the event.

Games will be played on Taco Bell TurfField 5. Play begins on Friday the 14th at 6 PM until midnight. Action picks back up on Saturday the 15th beginning at 9 Am lasting until 5 PM.

Admission is $1 or you can bring 2 cans of cat or dog food benefitting the Martinsville-Henry County SPCA.

Concessions will be sold.
