Smith River Stick It To Cancer College Club Invitational Field Hockey Tournament
SRSC has partnered with High Point University's Club Field Hockey program to host a collegiate club field hockey tournament to benefit life-saving cancer research for the National Cancer Research Foundation. The first event was in 2011.
Last fall, the 2012 2nd Annual event brought nine collegiate club teams from UNC-Wilmington, Clemson University, James Madison University, Longwood University, Elon University, West Virginia University, NC State, High Point University, East Carolina University and Carlisle School's Varsity team out to the fields.
The tournament is a single day event that has round robin play in the morning with single elimination starting in the afternoon. The event is free to the public with donations being accepted for NCRF.
