Smith River Sports Complex Growing Events for fall
"We are very proud of the economic impact that we have brought to our community. Each year SRSC hosts more events, athletes, families, and spectators, and this generates a substantial amount of revenue for local businesses. As we grow, our impact on the local economy continues to grow," said Chairman of the Board, Jimmy McGarry.
The 2013 - 2014 year will see over 25 tournaments at the SRSC, up from 19 tournaments last year. SRSC continues to expand the variety of sports hosted at the Complex. "SRSC continues to grow with diverse events representing all ages, genders, & race," said Billy Russo, Director of Operations at SRSC. "We will continue to fill the facility with events that boost the economy as well as strive to give everyone in our local area a chance to use the facility."
